Teradata DBA
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering (required)
• 7 years or more working as a DBA (required)
• Tearadata database administration experience
• Experience in data modeling techniques, including normal form and dimensional modeling
• Experience with large multi-terabyte (TB) databases (preferred)
• Experience with databases supporting a large and diverse number of end-users (preferred)
• Experience with physical data modeling techniques, including use of indexes, materialized views, system aggregates, etc (required)
• Experience with Teradata data warehouse appliance environment (preferred)
• Experience implementing a Virtual Data Mart (VDM) on Teradata (preferred)
• Strong SQL DDL and DML coding skills (required)
• Strong query tuning and performance problem solving skills (required)
• In depth knowledge of Product Development methodologies (preferred)
• ETL development background a plus
