Our client is seeking a Sr. Java Developer to join their enterprise Application Development team. This individual will be responsible for the design and development of new applications along with some application maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience translating functional requirements into software application designs. This is an excellent opportunity for candidate to work on very large scale projects involving SOA implementation. Interaction with Project Managers and participation in code reviews and unit testing are also required.
Required Skills:
· Must have at least 5-7 years development experience with core Java and J2EE
· Must have at least 3-4 years development experience with Spring and Hibernate
· Must have experience taking functional requirements and turning them into technical requirements
· Must have excellent communication skills
· Must have proven experience working/interfacing with the business
· Must have JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Desired Skills:
· Ideal candidate would have as many of the following as possible:
· Experience working with Oracle databases
· Experience with WebSphere Application Server, Portal, and/or MQ Broker
